Circle Celtique
One of Brittany's best Traditional Dance Group and leading the dance championships for many years The Celtic Circle of Rennes is a Kendalc'h Federation "First Category Group."

The dancers wear beautiful costumes dating from the 1870's and 1920's from the Rennes area. These costumes are identical replicas of the genuine article. The Traditional Dance Group aims to promote both locally and further a field, the very diversified culture of Brittany, whilst proving itself worthy of the traditions it represents.

Every year the Circle gives around 15 to 20 performances in Brittany. The group also performs abroad regularly to represent Brittany, and travels to every corner of Europe, including Calabria, Portugal, the Benelux countries, Poland and more recently Spain. They have also gone beyond European borders to Japan.

The City of Rennes is twinned with Cork. To celebrate Cork tenure as European Capital of Culture le Circle Celtique de Rennes took part in the 2005 Festival.
